Pedal bearing collapsed, Gary Left

The pedal outer fell off, the bearing had disintegrated.We were riding "Venus" in Sticky Forest near Wanaka and about 5pm and the bearing collapsed. Luckily we went to Riders
Edge (Torpedo 7) but they couldn't help. Went to Outside Sport and they hired me a set they used for demo/hire bikes. I went back next morning and arranged to buy them for NZ$50… a bargain as a rebuild kit was $53.
