We must have hit a tree stump or something with the chain tensioner. It was severely bent out of shape. We were SO SO lucky that it happened at the end of our our three week trip. We missed a half hour of riding at most. It happened on Turkish Delight maybe 50 metres from the end of the trail and we had had just had a fantastic ride down Tokorangi.
