HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS
We spent our first full day checking out just a small number of the hundreds of temples and stupas in the Bagan area. Built between about 1050 and 1250 this was obviously a huge and prosperous city in its heyday.
During the day we had 3 flat tyres and only rode about 20 km in all.
Friday and day 2 in Bagan started with repairing another 2 flats, one in the front and one in the rear tyre. We then set off to see a couple of large Pagodas and Temples that we had missed the previous day.
We rode about 28 km in all.
